NIFTY MOVED TO SHADJAM ?

Nifty just moved to Shadjam band width and returned to Rishabham. ( 4233-3969 = 264 ; 264/2 = 132 ; Seperation line between Shadjam and Rishabham is 3969+132 or 4233-132 ie. 4101 and Nifty’s low was 4093.20 ). Or if we ignore just 10 points it has not gone to Shadjam at all. Nandi reserves his opinion whether it touched Shadjam or not for a later date.

Nifty may be heading to Shadjam (3969)

Contrary to the expectation of Nandi, in the afternoon of today Nifty moved downwards and reached at 4156 before closing. That means Nifty may be heading towards Shadjam level ie. 3969. That is the base level “Sa” where Nifty started in April 2007. Hope Nifty will complete the raga there and start a fresh one. Retail investors should note down the Agni (Fire ) level and exit all longs when Nifty touches it. Further, to avoid probable damages no purchases be made for holding, when Nifty is below the Agni level. Agni level is being worked out based on the formula given by Kamolikav

NIFTY TODAY TOUCHES "SUDHA RISHABHAM " LEVEL

Nifty today touched Sudha Rishabham ( 4233 ) level and moved 70 points up before coming down again. In the second post titled “CARNATIC MUSIC SCALES AND NIFTY POINTS – A STUDY” (12th June 2008) Nandi had expected that Nifty would touch 4233 level with in a few weeks and turn upwards to 7441. Nandi expects the continuation of the upward trend tomorrow and move to Chatusruti Rishabham level ( 4465 ) this week.

The Market Movement is the orchestra of stocks

Why all the stocks are not moving up or down as Nifty? Nifty is an orchestra of 50 stocks. In an orchestra performance, majority of instruments involve and follow the main trend of the music. Other instruments will keep low. When the intensity of main trend slows down some of the instruments starts playing and gradually its intensity increases and oscillates in a definite pattern and the beauty of it is marvelous. In many situations Bansuri (Flute) or Violin is being used for this purpose. In our times Nandi is very fond of “Yanni” and his performance at the acropolis. In olden days Mozart and Beethoven were great. In vocal music Nandi likes Maharajapuram Santhanam. Nandi also likes to do active meditation on the tunes of “NATARAJ” created by Osho, the great master in our times. Each and every person carries from the earlier life some of the traits and our likes and dislikes are associated with it. We like music, art, person at first hearing or sight provided that matches with the patterns which we carries, or dislikes it. Hence it varies from person to person. Leave it – we are not discussing that here. We go back to music.

The Indian musical instruments fall into five categories: ghan (non-membranous percussion – Ghatam, Ghungharu, Jaltharang, Manjira etc), sushir (wind blown- Bansuri, Harmonium, Nadaswaram etc), tat (plucked stringed – Vina, Gottuvadyam, Santur, Sarod, Sitar, Fidle, Thanpuru etc), vitat (bowed stringed – Mayuri Vina, Sarangi, Violin etc.) and avanaddh (membranous percussion – Chenda, Maddal, Mridangam, Tabla). Similarly in stocks we have many categories such as Automobiles, Banks, Capital Goods, Cement, Engineering, Entertainment, FMCG, Information Technology, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Power, Reality, Steel, Sugar, Telecom. As in an orchestra performance majority of stocks follow the main trend ie. move up and down along with Nifty. Movement of some other stocks are different and that is the beauty of it as in the music. On 20th June,2008 Hindustan Petroleum and ONGC belonged to that category. Nandi is not naming other stocks which moved up as it is not part of the Nifty. If all the stocks move in the same direction and with same ratio there won’t be any beauty in it. So the nature has its own timing for each instrument (or stock) to play with the pitch, intensity and quality assigned to it. Enjoy it.

Ganesh Yanthra holds the key to EWT !!!

Given above is the ancient Ganesha Yanthra on which “Na Ma Shi Va Ya Pa Hi Ma” is marked. Market movement starts from Na at the bottom petal and moves in anti-clockwise direction and completes in eighth petal – positive up to the top petal and negative there after. Market is not moving in a straight line. It moves in waves like sound – up and down. Tip of the tongue also move like wise while chanting Na Ma Shi Va Ya Pa Hi Ma – up and down alternatively. Up petals are given green color and down orange. The opposite petals have the same colors and Shi and Hi comes exactly in the centre and in my first post I have mentioned the importance of these letters. In general it is a five plus three cycle; five up and three down. It is also a well known fact that market has eight year cycle; five up and three down.

The Elliott Wave Theory (EWT) has close resemblance with the above depiction - five up waves (1 through 5) and three ABC correction waves. And off course the Third wave will have more power & prominence than other waves and here in the depiction it is “Shi” and placed exactly in the middle. Also note that while producing the sound “Shi” you exert more power and the tip of the tongue is not obstructed.

Thus the Ganesh Yanthra holds the key to many important aspects of EWT and perhaps Lord Ganesha Himself created a thought like this while Nandi stood before Him at Pazhavangadi Temple, Trivandrum with his hands folded and sight fixed on the roof , where Ganesh Yanthra is carved.

Om Shri Maha Ganapathaye Namah.

CARNATIC MUSIC SCALES AND NIFTY POINTS – A STUDY

In Malabar (northern part of Kerala) where Nandi's childhood days were spent, the Malayalam year (era) commences from Medam 1st ie. April 14 and we celebrate it as Vishu Festival with fire works and all. Seeing the Vishukkani also important through out Kerala and believed that it brings prosperity through out the year. Later Nandi found that the April 14th has special importance in the astronomy – the Sun transits from the South (Pisces constellation) to North (Aries constellation). During that period the night sky is clear and beautiful, days are bright and pleasant, birds fly and chirp with happiness. You may be wondering why Nandi is telling these things now where it has no relevance at all.

There is no doubt; Nandi thought that this may be the most appropriate day for the nature to start singing the song in which we are interested as investors/traders in the Indian share market. Hence Nandi took 14th April, 2007 as base and calculated the values based on the carnatic music scales which are given below.

Swara Swara known as Animal Frequency values Nifty Points

Sa Shadjam Peacock 1.000 3969

Ri-1 Sudha Rishabham Bull 1.067 4233

Ri-2 Chatusruti Rishabham Bull 1.125 4465

Ga-1Gandharam Goat 1.200 4762

Ga-2 Anthara Gandharam Goat 1.250 4961

Ma-1 Sudha Madhyamam Crounchem 1.333 5292

Ma-2 Prati Madhyamam Crounchem 1.422 5644

Pa Panchamam Kuil 1.500 5953

Dha-1 Sudha Daivatham Horse 1.600 6350

Dha-2 Chatusruti Daivatham Horse 1.688 6697

Ni -1 Kaisiki Nishadham Elephant 1.800 7144

Ni-2 Kakali Nishadham Elephant 1.875 7441

Sa Shadjam 2.000 7937

Here, Nifty points are arrived at by multiplying the base value (3969 –Average of high –low on 14th April) with frequency values. Everybody who follows Nifty will easily identify the most important points during 2007 -2008 ie. 6350 the maximum on 8th January 2008 and 4465 the bottom reached on 22nd January 2008 and 18th March 2008. Now the Nifty has gone below 4465 and moving around it. Nandi believes Nifty will reach 4233 within a few weeks and turn upwards to 7441. As animal related to 4233 also Bull we cannot say that Nifty is in bear phase unless we go below 4233 which Nandi don’t expect. Only time can tell whether Nandi is right or not. Friends, Nandi hopes a difference of a few points here and there you will ignore. Right ? Best Wishes.

Nifty chants “Na Ma Shi Va Ya Pa Hi Ma “

Dan Brown’s most famous novel “The Da Vinci Code “ narrates the striking relationship of “PHI” with many of the beautiful objects and orders in the nature (pages 100-101 ). More cute information can be had on PHI & Fibonacci numbers and its relationship with nature, arts and music by a simple search in Google. And after understanding basics of Elliot’s Wave Theory and the importance of Fibonacci numbers in it, the following assumptions were derived by Nandi.

a) Prior to Eliot’s period also Global markets moved in a definite pattern so that Eliot could codify the movements and define his theory based on it.

b) Market index movement is also being the part of the nature’s phenomena formed as a net result of actions of millions of human minds – best creation of mother nature compared to all other living beings – definitely follow some pattern of nature.

c) Nandi's presumption is that the market chants “Na Ma Shi Va Ya – Pa Hi Ma“ continuously. Elliots 1 to 5 waves represents “ Na Ma Shi VaYa” and waves ABC represents “Pa Hi Ma”. These aksharas were assumed from the movement of the tip of the tongue while chanting the manthra and the direction of the movement of the wave narrated by Elliot. Further, the tip of the tongue does not touch upper parts of the mouth while producing the sounds “Shi” and “Hi” and the lengths of the wave have more prominence.

d) It is told in ancient books that NATARAJ (Siva) is the greatest musician and dancer and the whole universe moves according to His will only. The great Saints and musicians of Carnatic / Hindustani music have formulated many ragas for classical music and one of those ragas is being rendered by nature for chanting “NaMaShiVaYa-PaHiMa” each time.

"Shiva, the cosmic Dancer, is perhaps the most perfect personification of the dynamic universe. Through his dance, Shiva sustains the manifold phenomena in the world, unifying all things by immersing them in his rhythm and making them participate in the dance - a magnificent image of the dynamic unity of the universe."

(Extract from "The Tao of Physics" by Frijof Capra - page 211)

e) Nifty’s path is prefixed and financial / political happenings are just guiding it to that path . We can definitely find out some method to determine the exact path of Nifty based on our ancient scripts or systems.
