As on 1st April, 2026 Sun & Saturn in Pisces, Venus in Aries, Jupiter in Gemini, Ketu in Leo, Moon in Virgo and Rahu & Mars & Mercury in Aquarius. Planetary transits in April: 14th Sun -> Aries, 2nd Mars -> Pisces, 10th and 30th Mercury -> Pisces-> Aries respectively and 19th Venus -> Taurus.
On 5th January 2026 Nifty touched a new high of 26,373 ie. around (Plus or minus 5 days) 8th January 2026, the day of Shukra (Venus) Mangala (Mars) Yoga (conjunction). Then Nifty started to decline and reached 22284 on 30th March 2026 ie. after 18th March 2026, during Kalasarpa Yoga. There will be definitely further decline and Nifty may move to 21,142 very soon. It may be noted that Nifty low was 21,744 on 7th April 2025. Nifty may likely to drift downwards during this financial year. Considering the cyclic nature of the market, repetition of events during the IInd World War seems to re-appear. Starting investing in SIPs seems to be a better option.
