Grahanila(Planetary positions) as on 1st Oct 2015

As on 1st October 2015 Sun, Mercury & Rahu in Virgo, Saturn in Scorpio, Ketu in Pisces, Moon in Aries and Jupiter, Mars & Venus in Leo. Planetary transits in October: 18th Sun -> Libra, 29th Mercury -> Libra.
The planetary positions given above are at the time of Sunrise in India(Kerala) and Moon's conjunction effect on markets may be seen in countries (Asia / Europe / US) where trading take places at the time of conjunction(0°). When the angular difference between the Moon and the planet is more than 5 degrees or conjunction occurs in Rasis(constellations) other than the Sun's Rasi, there may be a delay up to 24 hours in the conjuntion effect according to their positions (Note: expect only eighty percent accuracy in assumptions based on Moon's conjunction with Mars(-), Venus(-) and Jupiter(+) as some other astro factors may also influence the market). As Moon conjuncts with Venus and Mars on 8th and 9th respectively Nifty may move downwards on 9th. Ordinarily market reciprocates Sun's movement in the Rasi chakra on 0° to 180° line. The popular adage "Sell in May and buy back in November" can be linked to this. During October Sun will reach the bottom of the Rasi chakra and reverse it's direction. Hence the expectation of a upmove in Nifty during the month. But, since many other factors may also influence the movements of Nifty, date of reversal may be delayed or advanced in some occassions - 2009 & 2014 were such years.

Dear Niftybaba,
Vipanisangeetham expected Nifty bottom around 9th October. But, the last upmove from 29th September on reduction of repo rate by 50 bps may change the situation. So, some more time is required to get a clear view. Hence, it is not possible to give a clear view at present.

Hi chetas,
It's nice to know that you are also a friend of beloved Abhipsha, please convey balanandan's greetings to him. (please note that I, my, etc. words which represent ego is completetly avoided in vipanisangeetham - courtsy to Swami Ramdas and his book "In the vision of God"). What is observed many times is that market will be down on the day Nishagandhi blooms, provided all the flowers blooms in a single day. During last fortnight one flower bloomed on 27th, one 28th and 4 on 29th. Market was down only on 28th which was also a full moon - many called it super moon as moon was near zero degree, the time when distance between moon and earth as also with sun is minimum and moon seems larger and brighter than any other day. Nifty closed in green on the day Nishagandhi bloomed at Abhipsa's residence at Pune, but European markets down. So, generally market is down on the day when Nishagandhi blooms, but it may not be true always. thanks.

Super Moon - not only Moon is near zero degree on a full moon day, but also Ketu is nearby. Ketu will return to this place only after 30 years.
