Fractals or natures repetition of patterns ?

These are the Nifty closing figures for 2007 and 2009 December end.

Is 2007 and 2009 (Ups & Downs) has similarities? Whether 2008 will be repeated in 2010 ? Just for holiday tinkering.

Most probable like so .

I have one doubt whether like daily levels of agni, any research done on monthly,quarterly,half yearly and annual levels .Just for thought
