Last day of last year Nifty closed at 5201, the highest close during 2009. Last years lowest close was 2573 on 9th March,2009.
New trading year starts tomorrow, the 4th January,2010 with extended timing from 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. So, all people connected to stock market in India has to rush early from Monday. Therefore, time for observation of Asian markets, going trough stock market websites/blogs etc. has to be reduced to cope up with the change.
