The chart below shows the planetary positions as on Vishu day ie. 14th April 2012. Sun just crosses "1O"th degree and enters Aries. At the same time the Sun is above God's own country. It implies that God's counting starts from Kerala. The position of Jupiter and Moon points to Guruvayur. Jupiter is referred as "Guru" in Malayalam astrology and it is in Aries this year. On 14th April 2012, Moon is on star "Uthradam", the "Bhootham" (element)of which is "Vayu"(Air). Thus, tomorrow when Sun crosses "1O"th degree Guru & Vayu are present where Sun points on mid-day(noon)- GURUVAYUR. It is likely that "Guruvayurappan(Sree Krishna)" idol was installed on such an auspicious day. Though Jupiter will again be in Aries in 2024, the Air element need not be present.

hi..really auspicious day..and Happy Bihu( assamese festival) to u....got that today is an auspicious day ...but what is the meaning of this Sun transition to Aries...good,,bad,,,or what else...also market wise??

The Sun's transit to Aries always promises Prosperity and Happiness. Remember that music scale so starts on Vishu day itself. But, the presence of Jupiter in Aries is not good. So market may decline and rebound can be expected from 120° - 240° ie. August - December only.
Another interesting coincidence is that Sree Krishna is believed to be lived before 5000 years. It can be 5126 years as in Mayan calender. Sree Krishna was the 9th avtar of Lord Vishnu and last "KALKI (fire emitting avtar on a white horse)" may be due this year end. It is being said during December 4th dimension (time) may be altered. Last weeks Business Line reports the possibility of tilting of Earth's axis due to earth quacks above 9th magnitude. If such a thing happens our 24 hours a day will definitely be changed. Don't know what is in store before us. Let us pray to Lord Vishnu to save us all.

jupiter started its aries transit from last may and is going to complete its transit in aries this may..
jupiter transit to taurus may takes place sometime in may 2012..

Jupiter transited to Aries on 8th May 2011 ie. after last year Vishu. On 17th May 2012 it will transit to Taurus.
