First day of the Malayalam month of Vrischikom.

After opening with a 50 points gap up, Nifty today(16-11-09) moved in a narrow range between 5046 to 5073 and closed at 5058 with a gain of 59 points. It seems that Nifty may move to the top of Anthara Gandharam at 5123 tomorrow as expected in the post dated 11th November,2009(read the comments also). The Surya level and the Agni level for tomorrow are 5128 and 5101 respectively. As mentioned earlier moon's position (no-moon day)and transition of Sun from Libra to Scorpio may have given impetus to the market. Today is the 1st day of Malayalam month Vrischikom (means Scorpio) and Mandalam-Makaravilakku festival at famous Sabarimala temple in Kerala starts today.

SABARIMALA NEWS: The Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala was opened on Sunday for the two-month Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage beginning Monday, the first day of the Malayalam month of Vrischikom.
