Nifty retreats to centre of P(5952)

Today(23-5-13) Nifty opened at 6050 with a loss of 45 points, moved up to 6081 and descended steadily to 5956 (ie. centre of P - 5952) and closed at 5967 with a loss of 127 points . Nifty futures range was 6080 -> 5953, a loss of 127 points. Friday's Agni level is at 6020.
In the Grahanila post dated 1st May 2013 it was mentioned that 23rd will be a down day and today Nifty lost 127 points. From the table above, it can be seen that in addition to Moon & Saturn conjunction today Mars transited to Taurus. On 13th Mercury transited to Taurus and Nifty lost 127 points while Sun's transition to Taurus on 15th provided Nifty a gain of 151 points. In the next week Mercury, Venus and Jupiter transits to Gemini and let us see what are its implications.

Nifty may move to centre of D (6355)

On Friday(17-5-13) Nifty closed at 6187 with a gain of 17 points after moving in the range 6146 - 6200. Nfity futures range was 6153 - 6209. From the chart above it can be seen that Nifty moved to D (Bottom: 6154, Centre: 6355, Top: 6526) on 16th May and remained there on 17th also. Therefore Nifty may move to centre of D (6355)in next week. Interestingly, Nifty all time high is at 6357 on 8th January 2008. Agni level for Monday is at 6191.

Nifty closes at 6147 ie. top of P(6154)

Today (15-5-13) Nifty opened at 6019 with a gain of 24 points, zoomed up to 6157 (a gain of 162 points) and closed at 6147 with a gain of 152 points. 6154 is top of P and third figure in the chart posted on 1st January 2013. Further 6144 is 24x ie 24 x 256. Nifty futures range was 6026 - 6169. Nifty movement in coming days will reveal whether Nifty is headed for a new high.

Nifty closes at 6107

Today (Saturday,11-5-13) in the special trading session Nifty closed at 6107, its highest so far during the year 2013. On 29th January 2013 Nifty touched the high of 6112 and closed at 6050. But today Nifty touched the high of 6115 and closed at 6107. Nifty futures range was 6099-6130. Swings Nifty had during this period mapped on the music scale chart is given above. The last time Nifty positioned above this level was on 4th January,2011 on which day Nifty high was 6181 and closing 6146. If Nifty moves above the range 6154 (high of P) - 6181 (high of Janury 2011) it is headed for a new high. Agni level for Monday is at 6137.

Nifty closes at centre of P(5952)

Today(3-5-2013) RBI cut repo rate by 25 bps to 7.25 percent as anticipated. After opening with a loss of 5 points, Nifty moved in the range 5930 - 6000 and closed at 5944 (ie. at centre of P(5952) with a loss of 55 points. Nifty futures range was 5937 - 6006. Agni level for Monday is at 5994.

Nifty closes at 5999

Today(2-5-13) After moving in the range 5911 - 6019 Nifty closed at 5999 with a gain of 69 points. Nifty futures range was 5930 - 6025, having a difference of 95 points. Nifty daily average was 5965 against the anticipation of 5952. Tomorrow being RBI credit policy day Nifty may swing violently. It is to be seen whether Nifty moves to 6080 - 6154 range. At today's closing RSI is 84.76 (refer chartinkt chart - last link). Stock Market Dynamics referred in the post dated 12th April 2013 may come in to play in coming days as RSI moves above 85. Tomorrow's Agni level is at 5979.

It may effect Nifty on that day if the difference is less than 5 degrees and next day otherwise. As per above Nifty may move downwards on 10th & 23rd. All other conjunction dates are on non-trading days. The planets starts drifting away from Ketu from 4th onwards and the ill effects gets reduced. Historically stock markets will be on top when Sun is at its high ie. Aries and at low when Sun is in Libra. That's why the popular adage "Sell in May and Go Away".
