Pre-market auction - second day

Similar to yesterday today(19-10-10)also after pre-market auction Nifty opened at 6128 with a gain of 44 points, declined within 5 minutes to negative territory and moved in the range 6060 - 6095 up to 13.30, moved up to 6127(13.55), declined more than 100 points very fast to touch 6008 and closed at 6027 with a loss of 49 points. Second day of pre-market auction also Nifty didn't gave a stable opening and the volatility was very high. Nifty futures range was 6024 - 6166, having a difference of 142 points. Let us see some more days to say any opinion on it. Tomorrow's Agni level is at 6027.

First day of Pre-market call auction

Yesterday(18-10-10)market opened from 9.00 to 9.08 for pre-market call auction of 50 Nifty stocks. Regular market opened at 9.15 with the figure arrived at pre-market call auction ie. 6112.75. This is the first day of the new system introduced to eliminate the volatility at the opening of the market. It may take time to serve the purpose. Yesterday it gave a wrong direction (see table for details). Go long when Nifty moves above Agni level. Today's Agni level is at 6137.

Nifty back to P (Panchamam)

On Friday(15-10-10) Nifty opened at 6201 with a gain of 24 points, soon slipped to negative territory and moved in the range 6105 - 6147 up to 14.30, declined further to 6050 and closed at 6063 with a loss of 114 points in P(Panchamam). Tomorrow's Agni level is at 6145, which is 82 points above the closing and hence it is a watch and trade day.
Sun transits to Libra(Thulam)today and it is @ 180° which is a weak position. The planetary positions are as given below.

Today(14-10-10)Nifty opened at 6269 with a gain of 35 points, moved up to 6284, moved in the narrow range 6226 - 6250 up to 13.30, declined to 6158 and closed at 6177 with a loss of 57 points. Nifty futures range was 6318 -> 6181. As Nifty is near to all time high of 8th January 2008(just 53 points away from today's high) selling by some large investors cannot be ruled out. Hence cautious approach is required and better to avoid longs over night. Tomorrow's Agni level is at 6187.

Relentless surge of 150 points.

Today's(13-10-10) relentless surge of 150 points from 6090 to 6240 made Nifty to close at 6234 with a gain of 143 points, highest one day gain after 10th May 2010 (175.55 points). Nifty futures rise was 162 points from 6119 to 6281. Tomorrow's Agni level is at 6147 and further upward move to centre of D1(6355)expected.

Nifty closes below Agni level

Today(12-10-10)Nifty opened at 6104 with a loss of 32 points, moved down to 6058(-78) and after a small up move closed at 6091 with a loss of 45 points. Nifty close today is below the Agni level at 6131. Nifty futures range was 6150 -> 6083. Tomorrow's Agni level is at 6079. Avoid buying till Nifty crosses above Agni level.

Range bound trading from 9.10 a.m.

Today(11-10-10)Nifty opened at 6188 with a gain of 85 points, declined & moved in the range 6148 -> 6110 and closed at 6136 with a gain of 33 points. Nifty futures range was 6193 -> 6137, having a difference of 56 points. During the last three days, Nifty futures range was a multiple of 8(eight) ie. 96, 72 & 56 (new visitors may please read "Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya" post dated 15th March 2009). Tomorrow's Agni level is at 6131.
