Nifty closes above centre of Gandharam

Nifty today(9-2-10)opened with a loss of 20 points, moved in the range 4740 - 4810 and closed at 4793 with a gain of 33 points. Nothing to add further. For comments please read yesterday post. Agni level for tomorrow is 4692.

Nifty closes at centre of Gandharam - 2nd day

After moving in a wide range from 4675 to 4799 (details are given in the chart) Nifty today(8-2-10) closed flat at 4760. Tomorrow's Agni level is at 4689, which is much below the Nifty closing today. Expect upward move towards top of Gandharam (4859) in coming days.

Nifty closes at centre of Gandharam

Friday, the 5th February, 2010, the day Bhudha(Mercury)'s transit to Makaram (Capricornus)was due, the world markets saw large scale sell off ranging 2.5 to 3.5%.
Nifty also opened gap down at 4716 with a loss of 129 points, moved in the range 4692 - 4761 and closed at 4719 with a loss of 126 points. There was a special trading session from 11.00 to 12.30 on Saturday, the 6th February, 2010 to test the functionality of the new software installed at NSE. After trading in a narrow range Nifty closed at 4757 with a gain of 38 points, at the centre of Gandharam(4759). Nifty may move up to the top of Gandharam(4859) before resuming it's downward movement.
Note: Though Saturday's special trading session was only for one and half hours, the figures of that day has to be taken in to account for calculation of Soma-Surya-Agni levels as it was real. Tomorrow's Agni level works out to 4761, including Saturday's figures.

Nifty closes below Agni level in Gandharam

Today(4-2-10) Nifty opened at 4910 with a loss of 22 points due to weak global cues. As Nifty could not move above 4912(11.38)it gradually declined to 4892(13.50). As European markets also moved to red, Nifty started to decline fast and touched 4832(15.08)before closing at 4845 with a loss of 87 points. Nifty closing today is below the Agni level for the day at 4875 and also tomorrow's Agni level at 4871, in Gandharam range(High: 4859, Centre: 4759, Low: 4611). Hence, Nifty may decline further to centre/low of Gandharam in coming days. Tomorrow is 5th February the day Mercury transits to Makaram (Capricornus)- referred in postings from 17-1-10 and comments in AVTAR post.

Nifty again in Anthara Gandharam

Today(3-2-10)Nifty opened with a gain of 52 points at 4882, steadily moved up to 4949 and came down a little to close at 4932 with a gain of 102 points. As 4949 was reached by 13.30, it looked possible that 4960(expected level) may be achieved today itself, though two days time anticipated in yesterdays post. That may be reached tomorrow, as Nifty close today is just 28 points short of centre of Anthara Gandharam(4960). Tomorrow's Agni level is at 4875.

Nifty back in Gandharam

After opening at 4951 with a gain of 51 points Nifty today(2-2-10)declined steadily and closed at 4830 with a loss of 70 points. As Nifty has not moved to 4960 today it is felt that tomorrow or day after tomorrow Nifty may move to that area before starting its decline, provided it does not move below Agni level. Tomorrow's Agni level is at 4811.

Nifty close at Anthara Gandharam

Though opened with a loss of 50 points at 4832, Nifty today(1-2-10)closed at 4900 with a gain of 18 points in the Anthara Gandharam range. For comments see yesterday post. Tomorrow's Agni level is at 4769 only.
